The Maynooth University Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), a central unit within the Office of the Vice President for Students and learning, is dedicated to strengthening a valued teaching and learning community and culture at Maynooth University. CTL works collaboratively with staff, students and other stakeholders to offer professional learning opportunities and foster scholarship of teaching and learning, which underpins the work of the centre.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Educational Developer with expertise in digital education to join the team. They will play a central role in supporting the development of academic staff and educational practice at Maynooth University.
The postholder will lead educational development initiatives, projects and programmes towards the enhancement of digital teaching, learning and assessment at Maynooth University. They will lead on the design and delivery of accredited and non-accredited professional development initiatives. They will work with faculty and programme teams to support the development of research-informed and pedagogically innovative flexible curricula.
Reporting to the Head of the Centre for Teaching and Learning, the postholder will work closely with the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) and Educational Development teams.
Salary
Administrative Officer I (2026): €60,410 – €86,192 p.a. (9 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
