Position Summary:
The Department of Ophthalmology at UNC-Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time open rank oculoplastic/orbital surgeon. Appointment is fixed-term. Academic rank and salary are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
This position will report directly to the new Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology, Dr. Benjamin Frankfort.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
MD or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:
Excellent clinical & surgical skills, ophthalmic ultrasound experience, strong commitment to teaching, and demonstrated ongoing interest in clinical and/or basic science research.
Special Physical/Mental Requirements:
On-call occasionally; Involves patient care.
