Eligibility criteria
- First-class degree in Computer Science or demonstrable equivalent
- Familiarity with compiler toolchains
- Excellent C++ programming skills
- Experience working independently
- Desirable: familiarity with research methods and some related literature
- Desirable: some professional software development experience

The selection process will involve a pre-selection on documents and, if selected, will be followed by an invitation to an interview. If successful at the interview, an offer will be provided in due course.
Funding Notes
Stipend: £23,800 for Oct 2026/27, subject to increase
Research, Training & Support Grant: £1,500 per annum
Tuition fees: covered in full
