The Department of Accounting & Finance is accepting applications for a Temporary Part-Time Faculty Member to teach in-person undergraduate finance courses, encompassing delivering lectures, creating assessments, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Requirements: MBA or an MS in Finance, relevant professional certification (CFP, CFA, FRM, CMA, CPA, etc.) and business experience. teaching, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to academic and professional student development. The purpose of this posting is to generate a pool of qualified faculty. Applications submitted will be reviewed on an as needed basis based on enrollment. Anyone meeting the qualifications may be contacted for an interview and potentially hired when a need exists. In the event that you are interviewed but not hired, your application will remain in the departments pool of qualified faculty.
Class schedule and modality (face-to-face, online, blended, etc.) is set by the dean of the college.

- Cover letter describing qualifications for the position and teaching philosophy.
- Current curriculum vitae or professional resume.
- Copies of registrar-issued transcripts for all degrees conferred and in progress.
- Two letters of professional reference dated within the last 12 months.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Finance or related discipline.
- Candidates with an MBA or other Master's level business degree must have a relevant professional certification (CFP, CFA, FRM, CMA, CPA, etc.) and relevant business experience.
- Evidence of ability to successfully teach diverse student populations.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
- Evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Successful interview.
- Successful teaching demonstration for class teaching assignments.
- Successful completion of three background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD or ABD in Finance or related discipline.
- A relevant professional certification (CFP, CFA, FRM, CMA, CPA, etc.), and business experience.
- Prior college-level teaching experience.
