approximately 50-80 undergraduate students and is supported by 1-2 graders, who will be supervised by the hired lecturer. The course meets twice per week, Tuesday/Thursdays from 3:00-4:15 pm, from September 8 through December 14, 2026, plus an exam during the final exam period (Dec 16-23). The instructor will also hold one weekly session of office hours.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. or advanced doctoral training in oceanography or a related discipline within Earth Sciences. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
