Job Description
Coppin State University, a fully accredited institution, and a member of the University System of Maryland, is accepting applications to fill a Lecturer position in Teacher Leadership for the Department of Teaching and Learning within the College of Arts & Sciences, and Education. innovative Stackable Credentials programs, including Master of Education in Teacher Leadership and four affiliated postbaccalaureate certificates.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the new Stackable Credentials Programs in consultation with the Department of Teaching and Learning (T&L) and the Center for Inclusive Excellence (CIE).
- Teach graduate online courses associated with the Stackable Credentials and serve as academic advisor to address needs, monitor progress, and ensure completion.
- Serve on the CIE advisory council, conduct program related research and development, lead recruitment and retention efforts, and support reporting for CIE and T&L.
- Other duties as assigned related to T&L and CIE needs.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Doctorate degree required in one of the following areas: Teacher Education, School Administration, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
- Teaching and leadership experiences in a school-based environment are required and university teaching and advising experience is preferred.
