Job Summary
Supervise TRIO Student Support Services program designed to assist program participants in succeeding at Georgia Southern University.
This position has been identified by Federal Law (Jeanne Clery Act) as a Campus Security Authority (CSA), with significant student and campus responsibilities. CSA's are obligated to report crimes reported to them which occurred on campus, in public areas bordering campus and in certain non-campus buildings owned or controlled (leased) by the University.
Employment is contingent upon funding.
Responsibilities
- Support students of varying backgrounds, first-generation, low socio-economic, and underrepresented groups
- Organize academic and social activities designed to improve the University's persistence, retention, and graduation rates
- Coordinate program services, activities, workshops, and special events
- Monitor academic progress and social development of program participants
- Market and publicize program activities to stakeholders
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate program team members
- Provide fiscal oversight of program budgets and prepare federal, state, and Institutional reports
- Administer grant process and facilitate re-write of grants based on the grant cycle

- Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience
- Five (5) or more years of related work experience
Proposed Salary
$62,000 - $66,155
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
