Instruction may occur in face-to-face, hybrid, remote, or online formats, and may include daytime, evening, or weekend classes. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering course content, maintaining accurate student records in the learning management system (D2L), and providing timely feedback and communication with students and staff.

Instructors are expected to actively contribute to the department through regular meetings, service to students, and the integration of current technologies and culturally responsive teaching methods.
