Dr. Anjali Sudhir Naik serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Botany at S.B.E.S. College of Science, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a position she has held since June 2009. Her academic profile on Google Scholar lists her as Associate Professor at the same institution, with research interests in Plant Cytogenetics, Molecular Biology, and Environmental Issues. For community outreach, she regularly organizes demonstration lectures in Plant Science for school children in Viramgaon, Tq. Khultabad, coaches students from local schools for National Talent Search Exams and Homi Bhabha Junior Scientist Exams at Varah Mihir Science Center, Aurangabad, and arranged health check-up camps including dental, haemoglobin, and eye examinations for female students and staff as part of the Women’s Development Cell. Under the IQAC, she organized a soil analysis camp for 100 farmers in Viramgaon, District Aurangabad. Under her guidance, B.Sc. students won a seminar competition on 'Synthetic Chromosomes - a new tool in Gene delivery,' and she pioneered campus selection activities for B.Sc. Botany students at the college.
