Andy Harper is a Senior Lecturer in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London, where he teaches on the MFA Fine Art programme. He holds a BA in Fine Art Painting from Brighton Polytechnic (1990–1993), an MA in Fine Art Painting from the Royal College of Art (1993–1995), and an MA in Visual Culture from Middlesex University (1997–1999). Harper maintains an active practice as a painter, with his intricate oil paintings addressing themes of labour, nature, and uncertainty through detailed depictions of invented flora and terrestrial forms.
