Position Description As our Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) Program continues to grow, there is a need for consistent staffing of the required MJ curriculum. Students entering the MJ program initially enroll in two required courses: Law B505 Introduction to American Law and Law B550 American Legal System and Method. These courses provide an integrated introduction to the structure and principles of U.S. Law, the analytical and writing skills required for graduate students, and sources and techniques for basic legal research. After this foundation, MJ students enroll in the third required MJ course: Law A599 Legal Research Methods. This course further develops their research and analytical skills. These sequenced, required courses are currently taught in-person.
