Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Social Media Intern will assist with digital communications for the Humanities Department.
- Produce content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and/or Snapchat.
- Attend events and capture photographs and video to document the event.
- Write student and faculty feature stories and profiles, generate social media posts, source images for and update/create website content.
Minimum Qualifications
- Familiarity and experience with the social media platforms utilized by Fairmont State University.
- Previous experience with photo and video image-editing software.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time well.
