Department Summary
Ohio University is seeking a detail-oriented professional to serve as a Registrar Services Analyst, supporting the day-to-day operations of the Office of the University Registrar. This position is responsible for analyzing and encoding course requisites; administering access to systems overseen by the registrar's office, including the PeopleSoft student information system; and managing bulk assignment and maintenance of service indicators (holds) and student groups. The role also supports academic units with advisor assignment and maintenance and oversees course fee setup and management to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
Working closely with colleagues across the registrar's office and campus partners, the position provides guidance and support related to registration, scheduling, academic records, and other registrar-managed processes, helping ensure the accurate and consistent application of academic policies and procedures. The analyst assists with testing, troubleshooting, and resolving system and process issues related to assigned responsibilities. This role contributes to the efficient and accurate delivery of registrar services and supports faculty, staff, students, and alumni through reliable operational and technical support.
Position Profile
Creates, updates, and maintains course and class data. Collects, analyzes, researchs, prepares, and processes academic records and documents. Performs course registration and scheduling, class changes and additions, maintenance of student records, and degree audits. Collaborates across University to ensure accuracy of information and academic records data integrity. Creates reports for internal and external audiences.

Completes operational tasks essential for the daily functioning of the University. Additionally, contributes to larger projects or initiatives that align with department or University goals, often collaborating across teams.

Physical Requirements
This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience working in higher education
- Knowledge and understanding of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions

Pay Rate: Target hiring range for this role is $43,888.00-$62,459.00. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position, while also considering internal equity.
