Research will take place within a multidisciplinary group of Post-doctoral and Pre-doctoral researchers trained in physics, biology, and chemistry with whom the successful candidate will collaborate closely.
Applicants must have a PhD in physics or biological physics. Excellent analytical skills are required and prior experience in soft matter or biological physics research is preferable. Prior experience in the experimental techniques used in the lab such as optical tweezers and quantitative imaging is advantageous but not required.
Applications will be accepted immediately and candidates will be considered until the position is filled. The successful candidate will be appointed as a Postdoctoral Associate if they received their PhD within the past five years, or as an Associate Research Scientist if more than five years have elapsed since the degree was awarded.
