About the Project
This project is about solid-state quantum technologies, and aims to demonstrate key components of photonic quantum processing circuits. The platform that will be used is a III-V semiconductor quantum dot embedded within a photonic waveguide. In the ideal scenario, this system behaves in the one-dimensional atom limit, in which the quantum dot can be used to impart a large phase shift to the photon.
