pursuing careers in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering Technology, with expertise in areas such as circuit analysis, electronics, and control systems.
As an Instructor/Assistant Professor, you'll be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses and contributing to the department's outreach activities. We want to hear from you if you're passionate about sharing your knowledge and expertise with the next generation of engineers!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The Instructor position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Robotics Engineering, or a related field, with work experience in an area appropriate to the teaching field strongly preferred.
- The Assistant Professor position requires a Master's degree in an appropriate field with either three (3) years of teaching experience or an appropriate combination of teaching, relevant work experience, and scholarly activity.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship from the employer.
Preferred Experience:
The annual minimum salary for Assistant Professor is $58,276. The salary will increase to $59,995 on September 1, 2026.
The annual minimum salary for Instructor is $53,445. The salary will increase to $55,022 on September 1, 2026.
Salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
