Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a closely related field to include a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Computer Science/Information Technology. Related master’s degrees include Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, and/or Artificial Intelligence.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will meet ACBSP guidelines and have a minimum of (3) three years of progressively working/teaching experience in higher education and at least three (3) years of work experience in a related field. Ideal candidate will have working knowledge in multiple object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++, C#, Python, etc.) and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SQL, etc.). Proficient in modern business office applications and instructional techniques and methodologies. Committed to continuous professional development in the ever-changing field of information systems, eager to deliver current knowledge to students using state-of-the-art techniques and technologies in educational settings, and possess exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be able to work in an environment characterized by frequent changes in information technology. Demonstrate a solid commitment to student success.
