Position Overview

Minnesota State Community and Technical College is accepting applications for a Head Softball Coach to begin fall semester 2026. This position is located on the Fergus Falls campus.

Responsibilities:

Activities related to comprehensive community college teaching and learning, including but not limited to:

Head coach duties, including recruiting, conducting practices and tryouts, organizing and scheduling road trips, tracking students' athletic eligibility, and other related duties.
Monitor softball budget, fundraise as appropriate, and maintain spending practices in alignment with NJCAA rules.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

Softball coaching experience;
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Demonstrate the ability to recruit and coach;
Ability and commitment to adhere to the policies and procedures of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, MCCC and NCAA Division III.

Preferred Qualifications:

Assistant or Head coaching (softball) experience at the collegiate level.
Ability to work with a diverse population of students.
