ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level support to a University Executive, enabling effective leadership, governance integrity, and the successful delivery of strategic and operational priorities across the Services Division. Acting as a trusted partner, you will manage complex schedules, coordinate executive and governance activities, prepare high-quality briefings and correspondence, and support key projects and initiatives. This role requires exceptional judgement, discretion, and stakeholder engagement skills to navigate competing priorities, build strong relationships, and ensure the smooth and professional operation of the executive office.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE ROLE
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive support to an executive leader, with the ability to exercise significant judgement, discretion and autonomy in managing complex and confidential matters.
- Proven capability in managing complex executive workflows, competing priorities and governance commitments, ensuring executives are effectively briefed, prepared and supported to meet organisational priorities.
- Strong experience supporting governance processes, including preparation and coordination of agendas, papers, briefings and monitoring actions to ensure organisational compliance.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to research, analyse and prepare high-quality executive-level briefings, correspondence, reports and recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, communicating confidently and professionally while acting as a trusted liaison and representative of the executive office.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving capability, with demonstrated ability to resolve complex operational matters and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, identifying and implementing enhancements to processes and executive support practices.
