The M.A. in English & Writing Studies Teaching Associate Program offers graduate students the opportunity to teach English 1070A (First-Year Composition) or English 1210 (Diversity Literature and Social Justice) during the fall semester.
JOB SUMMARY
Teaching Associate will teach one 3-unit section of English 1070A or English 1210.
TYPICAL ACTIVITIES
Position involves preparing a syllabus and assignments, creating lessons and class activities, attending class weekly for the duration of the semester, grading assignments, holding weekly office hours, and responding to student communication in a timely manner. Teaching Associates will also attend a pre-teaching orientation held before classes begin.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a student in the MA in English & Writing Studies program at CSUSB.
