Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
The Clinical Site Supervisor must be licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board and credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Preference will be held for candidates with: Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy, AARC Membership.

The Clinical Site Supervisor will not provide direct patient care in the role of Clinical Site Supervisor for the respiratory therapy program, for UNCW (University of North Carolina Wilmington) and will not be responsible for resolving academic and non-academic student disputes. Please note that the following is required: Copy of state license and board certificate(s) (free and clear of disciplinary actions), Curriculum vitae (demonstrating experience), Letter of recommendation from a supervisor. Please note, this is a temporary position. The length of the assignment will be based on department needs with the possibility of continuation. Temporary assignments cannot exceed 11 consecutive months without a full 31-day break from employment.
