Research or scholarship responsibilities may include maintaining an active research laboratory, supervising students and research staff, and mentoring postdoctoral fellows. Additional responsibilities include writing grants, reports, and manuscripts, developing collaborative and independent research programs, and coordinating federally-funded grant efforts with local, national, and international collaborators.

Successful applicants will have evidence of federal funding and demonstrated success in fundamental and/or translational research relevant to violence prevention. The primary faculty appointment will be in the Department of Pediatrics or the department in the Perelman School of Medicine that provides the best scientific fit.
