Assistant or Associate Professor, Teaching
The Opportunity
The position entails 80% teaching and 20% service. The service component includes service at the faculty, university and professional levels. The teaching component will include teaching BSW, MSW, and/or graduate certificate courses, with leadership and administrative engagement.
Evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level in diverse delivery contexts and unique delivery models at undergraduate and graduate levels is required. Preference will be for practice experience and a strong background in more than one of the following areas: Leadership and organizational level practices, Field Education, Clinical Practice with Diverse Populations, Africentric Worldview practices, Indigenous Worldview practices, Artificial Intelligence and its Impact in Social Work Education, Mental health, Trauma, Child, family, group practices, Simulation and Social Work Education.
