The College of Human Development, Culture, and Media of Seton Hall University invites applications for part-time adjunct instructors to teach on-campus in our Art and Design program. The College seeks to engage individuals who value creativity, diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.

Seton Hall University is located in South Orange, New Jersey, just 14 miles from New York City. It is the oldest Catholic diocesan institution of higher education in the United States.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach up to two courses per semester
Each class meets once a week for 2.5 hours

Required Qualifications:

Expertise and ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: drawing, 2D design and color, watercolor, figure drawing, illustration, digital photography
Earned MFA degree in visual art

Desired Qualifications:

A minimum of one year teaching experience at the college level

Salary Range: Minimum pay is $1200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1300 per credit for those with a terminal degree
