Zhaochen He serves as an associate professor of economics at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, located in Luter Hall 223. Born in Beijing, China, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Chicago, earning dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in economics and physics. He subsequently pursued graduate studies at Boston College, where he received his PhD in economics. After completing his doctorate in 2014, Dr. He was appointed as a tenure-track assistant professor at Lewis and Clark College. He later transitioned to Christopher Newport University, where he advanced to the rank of associate professor. In his teaching role, he offers courses on empirical methods, labor economics, and macroeconomics.
