Professor Uri Gal is a Professor of Business Information Systems in the Discipline of Business Information Systems at the University of Sydney Business School. He joined the University of Sydney in July 2010 from Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, where he served as an Assistant Professor. His research centers on the organizational and ethical implications of digital technologies within the domains of business information systems, organizational theory, organizational change, and inter-organizational collaboration. Professor Gal investigates key issues such as algorithmic management, people analytics, privacy concerns in the Internet of Things, IT boundary objects, and the interplay between information systems and identity.
Professor Gal's scholarly contributions include highly cited publications that have shaped information systems research.
