Tim Ferris is an adjunct professor in the English department at Suffolk County Community College, a position he has held since 2019. He teaches core English courses including ENG 101, ENG 102 Introduction to Literature, and ENG 131 Creative Writing. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Ferris serves as a Writing Center Professional at the college, where he supports students in improving their writing abilities and academic composition skills. His instructional focus aligns with foundational English language and literature education at the community college level.
Ferris's academic background includes a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Hunter College, completed between 2015 and 2019. He also earned an Advanced Certificate in Adolescent Education, English Grades 7-12 from Hunter College from 2020 to 2021.
