Tiffany Bergeron serves as Assistant Professor of Visual Arts, Chair of the Department of Visual Arts, and Interim Dean of the School of Fine Arts at Houston Christian University. She is Program Coordinator for Studio Art programs at the BA, BFA, and MFA levels, Program Coordinator for the Art History minor, Co-Program Coordinator for Graphic Design BFA, and Content Expert for Art EC-12 teacher certification in the BS program. Bergeron holds an MFA in Studio Art specializing in Printmaking and an MLA with a focus in Art History from Houston Christian University, a BFA in Studio Painting from Sam Houston State University, and a BA in Marketing and Studio Art from Houston Christian University. Her teaching spans undergraduate and graduate courses in Printmaking, Drawing, Experimental Painting, Life Drawing, 2D Design, Color Theory, Art Secondary School, Essential Elements of Art, Prehistoric to Gothic Art, Renaissance to Modern Art, History of Modern Art, The Art of the Renaissance, and Art Appreciation.
Bergeron designed all online courses for the Department of Visual Arts, created an Art History Online Certificate and Studio Art Certificates across five disciplines, and developed the first interdepartmental Graphic Design degree with the Departments of CNMA and Creative Writing. She previously acted as Clinical Supervisor and Intern Supervisor for the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences and chaired the Ground Zero 360 Remembrance Exhibit and Events Committee on campus. As an artist, her mixed media painting "The Barred Owl" (2021, 30" x 24") is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas, Texas, and "The Nest" forms part of Ground Zero 360’s traveling permanent collection commemorating 9/11. She has exhibited solo at Redbud Gallery in Houston, in juried shows such as Rising Eyes of Texas and Assistance League of Houston, at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans, and at a museum in Salzwedel, Germany. Bergeron received a Merit Award for the Photo 15 Exhibit at The Berkeley Art Council and was nominated as a 2021-2022 Piper Professor.
