Tammy Richmond, CPA, is Assistant Professor of Accounting and Chair of the Department of Business at Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia. She joined the college in 2021 as Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting and has advanced to her current leadership roles, overseeing the Accounting Bachelor's Degree Program, Business Bachelor's Degree Program, Management Program, Marketing Program, and serving as Director of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Richmond has been instrumental in developing Bethany College's online MBA offering and realigning the Business program with two new tracks to prepare students for leadership positions in business. Her office is located in Morlan Hall, room 102.
Richmond earned a B.S. from West Liberty University, an M.B.A. from Wheeling University, and an M.S. from Wheeling University. As a Certified Public Accountant, she imparts practical expertise to students in accounting and business courses. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Presidential Faculty Award from President Jamie Caridi for leadership in the online MBA program, as noted in the Spring 2025 Bethany Today Magazine. She was also presented with the Faculty Award at the Fall Convocation on September 10, 2024. Richmond continues to contribute to the academic community through her administrative roles and commitment to student preparation for professional success.
