Dr. Rajshri Roy serves as Senior Lecturer in Dietetics and an Accredited Practising Dietitian within the Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Sydney, part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health. She earned her PhD from the University of Sydney at the Charles Perkins Centre between 2013 and 2016, along with a BSc (Hons I) and holds registrations as a New Zealand Registered Dietitian (NZRD) and Australian Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD). Previously, she was a Senior Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Auckland's School of Medical Sciences. At Sydney, Roy manages the Community and Public Health Nutrition Domain in the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics program and supervises research students across undergraduate, honours, master's, and PhD levels, including current doctoral candidates.
Rajshri Roy's research specializations encompass nutrition and dietetics, with emphasis on food environments, digital health, social media interventions for dietary behavior change, and public health nutrition. She holds leadership roles as Co-Chair of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Digital Health Early-Career Researcher Community, serving over 600 members, and Project Node Co-Leader in Wireless Wellbeing and Personalised Health. Additionally, she received a Dean's Citation for Education Champions.
