Paul Byrne is a Professor of Economics in the Brenneman School of Business at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Montana in 1996 and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois in 2003. Byrne joined Washburn University as an Assistant Professor of Economics in 2003 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2008, advancing to his current position as Professor. His long tenure at the institution reflects his commitment to teaching and research in economics within the School of Business.
