Subsequent to graduation, she has worked in Gisborne, Whangārei, Taranaki, and Wānaka, honing her skills in rural healthcare delivery. Hailing originally from Hastings, where her father's family originates, and with her mother's upbringing in Wairoa, Dr. Reid maintains strong regional connections; she resides near the Mahia peninsula during the workweek for her clinical duties and returns to Hastings on weekends. She holds a special interest in Women’s and Sexual Health and is passionate about teaching RMIP students, encouraging them to embrace the unique rewards of rural medicine.
