He has secured grants from the Australian Research Council, National Health and Medical Research Council, and philanthropic organizations, including the AXA Research Fund. In 2016, he received the University of Melbourne Graduate Research Early Career Researcher prize. His influential publications include 'A Brief Sleep Intervention Improves Outcomes in the School Entry Year: A Randomized Controlled Trial' (Pediatrics, 2011), 'Child Sleep Problems and Internalizing and Externalizing Difficulties' (JAMA Pediatrics, 2017), and 'Academic Outcomes 2 Years After Working Memory Training for Children With Low Working Memory: A Randomized Clinical Trial' (JAMA Pediatrics, 2016).
