Joanna Cairns serves as a University Lecturer in Paramedicine in the School of Health at the University of the Sunshine Coast. In this capacity, she contributes to the education and training of paramedicine students, preparing them for professional practice in healthcare settings. She holds the position of Course Coordinator for PAR321 Paramedic Primary Healthcare: Transition to Practice, a course focused on equipping students with the skills necessary for transitioning into paramedic roles emphasizing primary healthcare delivery.
Ms Joanna Cairns has been honored with an international AdvanceHE Fellowship as an Associate Fellow (AFHEA) in the Indigenous category.
