Jing Yu is an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Finance at the University of Sydney Business School. Prior to joining the University of Sydney, she held faculty positions at the University of Western Australia. Her research focuses on sustainable finance, environmental finance, and international capital markets. Yu's publications appear in top-tier journals such as Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Sustainability, Review of Finance, Journal of Banking & Finance, Accounting & Finance, and Journal of Financial Services Research. She has received the Rising Star Fellowship awarded by the Sydney Business School in 2021/22 and the AFAANZ Best Paper Award. In terms of service and leadership, she is a member of the Finance Discipline PhD and Honours Committees, an elected member of the Finance Discipline Honours Committee since January 2025, and Vice President of FIRN Women. Yu teaches sustainable finance courses at the University of Sydney Business School.
