Dr. Jenny Cui serves as Senior Lecturer in Urban Planning within the School of Engineering and Built Environment at Griffith University, located on the Nathan Campus. Her research specializations encompass urban planning and design, transport policy and planning, transport economics, active travel, and urban underground space. She possesses expertise in urban and regional planning and design, land use and spatial planning, built environment and health, transport planning and policy, environment and behaviour, as well as planning, design, and utilisation of urban underground space. Previously, she held a research fellow position supported by Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads funding, contributing to projects on planning transport in Australian cities as part of ARC impact studies.
Dr. Cui's scholarly impact is evidenced by her Google Scholar h-index of 29 and recognition as one of the World's Top 2% of Scientists by Stanford University for 2023, 2024, and 2025.
