Hargrove-Leak, and Anand Nageswaran Bharath), highlighting innovative strategies to excite K-12 students about STEM careers; and 'Building a Sense of Belonging for Women in Construction' (2025). She has also contributed to works on self-directed learning in internships, construction disputes assessment, and strategies for women in construction. Warrner received the Faculty Excellence Award from the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) in 2024, recognizing her superior performance and professional achievements. Additionally, she has coached student teams such as Concrete Solutions and participated in Habitat for Humanity projects, enhancing student industry readiness and community impact through her long-standing commitment to experiential education spanning over 15 years of volunteering with local elementary schools.
