Janine Tansley is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Otago. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Diploma in Public Health (DPH), and Diploma in Graduate Studies (DipGrad). Tansley is actively involved in undergraduate education within public health and epidemiology. She contributes as a Teaching Fellow to PUBH192 Foundations of Epidemiology, working alongside Jessica Meiklejohn and Carly Collins under Course Convenor Dr. Helen Harcombe, where guest lecturers specializing in various fields enhance the curriculum. As Senior Teaching Fellow, she leads modules 3 to 6 in POPH192 Population Health, partnering with colleagues including Dr. Julia Wilson, Dr. Molly George, Molly McCormick, and Tautemaria Silva for earlier modules.
