Dr. Imran Opel is a Senior Lecturer in the Global Curtin portfolio at Curtin University, serving as a Faculty Member in the Department of Management and Marketing within the Faculty of Business. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Green Human Resource Management from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, completing his studies from March 2018 to November 2022. Opel's research centers on green human resource management (GHRM), sustainability, and organizational behavior. He serves as a research supervisor in Curtin University's Human Resource Management discipline. His work explores the interconnections between GHRM practices, employee green behavior, organizational sustainability, and performance outcomes, including the roles of green intellectual capital, perceived behavioral control, and supportive work environments.
