She participated in the Jandt Lab's "BEE Creative" and "BEE Aware Day" events at Tūhura Otago Museum, assisting with hands-on activities like feeding bumble bees to educate visitors on native bee species and conservation efforts in Aotearoa New Zealand. Her practical support was acknowledged in 2024 University of Otago Zoology master's theses, including those on cognitive ability and colony phenotype in bumble bees by CETK McLean and New Zealand pest insects by JLB Matterson, where she was thanked for help during experiments and logistics such as insect delivery.
