Dr Fali Langdana serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Otago's Wellington campus, within the Faculty of Medicine and Division of Health Sciences. He earned his MB BS degree from Nagpur University, India, and holds professional qualifications including MRCOG, MRCPI, and FRANZCOG. Appointed as Senior Lecturer in January 2002, Dr Langdana is a graduate of Nagpur and acts as the Wellington Convenor for the Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Medical Gynaecology. His expertise encompasses obstetrics and gynaecology, with research interests focused on colposcopy, optimal management of endometriosis, and laparoscopic surgery. He contributes to medical education as teaching staff for OBGY715 Medical Gynaecology I, alongside colleagues Karyn Johnson, Kate Coffey, Karen Joseph, Rona Carroll, and Emma Macfarlane, and as convenor for OBGY717 Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinical Training.
