Erin Zimmer serves as Program Director and Assistant Professor in the Department of Sports Performance, Health, and Fitness at Webber International University. She leads the Bachelor of Science program in Sports Performance, Health, and Fitness, situated within the Health Professions and Sciences degree programs. This program provides students with a comprehensive foundation in exercise science, covering essential areas such as public health, nutrition, anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, exercise prescription, fitness and body composition assessment, and sport psychology. The curriculum totals 120 credits, including general education core requirements, lower and upper-level courses, and electives tailored to sports performance. Professor Zimmer holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Master of Science from American Military University, along with a Bachelor of Science from Wesley College. She functions as Program Chair for the BS in Sports Performance, Health, and Fitness, as noted in university commencement proceedings, and as Faculty Athletics Representative for Webber International University Athletics. She instructs courses such as Anatomy and Physiology II and serves as the career services contact for her program, aiding student professional development.
