Professor Eric Nelson is a Professor of Management in the Department of Management at the Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies, University of Central Missouri. He earned a Ph.D. in Education specializing in Human Resource Education from the University of Illinois, a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, and a Master of International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Prior to his academic career, Nelson accumulated 13 years of corporate experience in management development training and organizational development. He teaches and consults on interpersonal skills, teamwork, leadership, and self-analysis skills, bringing a lifelong passion for experiential learning to his projects. Nelson is learner-focused and collaborative by nature.
Nelson's research and publications emphasize leadership education, management pedagogy, and business cases. His Google Scholar profile identifies interests in leadership, international business, and small business. Key publications include "Does career maturity impact leadership behavior?"
