Colleen Geary is a Clinical Associate Professor of Exercise Science in the Department of Kinesiology at the College of Education, The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Alabama, with her dissertation titled "Anxiety and affective responses to acute bouts of moderate intensity exercise (walking): effects of varying durations" completed in 2015. As a faculty member in the Department of Kinesiology, which focuses on disseminating knowledge across subdisciplines including exercise science and sport pedagogy, Geary contributes to high-quality teaching, research, and service. The department prepares students for careers in school, community, rehabilitative, health, medical, sport, and athletic settings through state-of-the-art laboratories in Wade Hall. Geary previously served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Kinesiology at The University of Alabama.
