Rate My Professor Claire Grant

Claire Grant is the Communications Adviser for the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Otago. She supports the faculty by producing communication materials, including news articles that highlight research accomplishments, teaching awards, faculty appointments, and significant scientific advancements. Her work helps disseminate information about pioneering research in areas such as tuberculosis, genome editing, immunology, genetics, and biomedical sciences to broader audiences.

Prior to her current role, Claire Grant served as Communications Manager for Genomics Aotearoa from 2018 to 2024, where she contributed to promoting the understanding of genomics in New Zealand. She brings extensive experience in communications advisory and public relations, including previous positions as Media Manager for AgResearch and in contract communications roles.
