Dr. Audrey Siah Kim Lan is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics within the Malaysia School of Business at Monash University, where she serves as Coordinator of the Department of Economics. She possesses over ten years of teaching experience in economics, delivering courses to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and supervising honours and PhD students in areas such as international economics, labour economics, and social economics. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a manager in a building materials firm and acquired experience in the marketing sector. In addition to her lecturing role, she holds positions as Director of Honours and Postgraduate Diploma programs and Deputy Director of Postgraduate Studies.
Her research interests include experimental economics, labour economics, and socio-development economics. Her scholarly contributions align with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including no poverty, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, and reduced inequalities.
