Anne Ryalls is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Medicine at the Dunedin School of Medicine, University of Otago, within the Faculty of Medicine, Division of Health Sciences. She holds qualifications of EN and BSc. In her roles, she serves as Ambulatory Medicine Convenor for 4th and 5th year medical students, ELM tutor, Teaching Administrator, and member of the Department of Medicine Teaching Committee and Department of Medicine Research Committee. A 25-year veteran of the department, she provides critical support to teaching and administrative functions and is recognized by Professor Michael Schultz as the go-to person for students and teachers in the Department of Medicine.
Until 2017, Anne Ryalls worked as a research nurse in the Endocrine Research Group led by Professor Patrick Manning. She is a co-author on several peer-reviewed publications related to metabolic disorders, nutritional therapies, and endocrine research. Key publications include: Manning, P. J., Sutherland, W.
