Aaron Singline is the IT Support Technician in the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Otago. He supports research and teaching equipment needs within the department. Aaron Singline contributed to the development of PULSAR Otago, a software package for analyzing pulsatile luteinizing hormone (LH) secretion data. This work is presented in the publication 'Reformulation of PULSAR for Analysis of Pulsatile LH Secretion and a Revised Model of Estrogen-Negative Feedback in Mice,' published in Endocrinology in 2021 (volume 162, issue 11). The authors include Robert Porteous, Patricia Haden, Eleni C R Hackwell, Aaron Singline, Michel K Herde, Reena Desai, David J Handelsman, and others, with Singline affiliated to the Department of Physiology, University of Otago. The paper details the reformulated PULSAR algorithm optimized for contemporary computing environments and provides setup instructions for PULSAR Otago. He has also been acknowledged for technical support in PhD theses from the Department of Physiology, such as 'Cholinergic modulation of cortical sensory-evoked responses' by J.J. Martin (2019) and another on grafting cortical pericytes.
