Additionally, Allen participated in the 2024 Crosstown Throwdown Move Challenge as part of the winning 'Sole Mates' team from the Department of Mathematical Sciences. Teammates Beverly Reed, Tuyet Pham, Jiafeng Jin, and Daisy Arokiasamy helped secure the victory over the University of Akron and other Kent State University staff and faculty by accumulating the most activity points. The win was announced at the Kent State versus University of Akron men's basketball game on February 24.
