Your opportunity:
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Research Program & Operations Coordinator will support a broad range of research and academic initiatives within the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling day-to-day project activities
- Maintaining project records and informing stakeholders of project progress
- Coordinating meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action and follow-up items
- Maintaining information on digital platforms
- Assessing needs and contributing to the planning of research goals
- Delivering presentations to promote programs, opportunities and/or initiatives
- Monitoring, recording, reconciling and/or reporting on funding accounts for grants and contracts
- Directing the activities of casual staff
Essential Qualifications:
- Advanced College Diploma (3 years) in public administration, research administration, or a related field or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years relevant experience supporting graduate trainee programs or initiatives in a university, research, government, healthcare, or similar environment
Note: The term duration for this role will be approximately two years with the potential for an extension.
